Quantum Information Science and Engineering
High-School level Summer School
July 31 - August 3, 2023
The summer school will be held virtually via Zoom.
This summer school is hosted by the Virginia Tech Center for Quantum Information Science and Engineering in collaboration with the Department of Energy’s C2QA center. Students will explore the basic principles that underlie quantum technologies and gain an appreciation for what novel capabilities are unlocked by quantum mechanics. You do not need familiarity with quantum mechanics, linear algebra, or programming to participate. The only prerequisite is arithmetic and basic algebra, e.g., (-2+6x)=-2(1-3x).
